1966 Corvette This beauty went from a shell of ugly fiberglass on a rusted frame to the shiny specimen shown here. Once the work was completed the proud investor in the car was able to turn around and sell it quickly for a nice profit -- but to this day he really wishes he would have kept it for himself! The images below highlight especially the rear 1/4 panels which had to be cut out and rebuilt. Their straight lines attest to the craftmanship and attention to detail that set us apart from other shops. Although the engine was rebuilt by a well-respected local engine specialist, it was put in place and all hooked up in our shop. The photos below also show the extensive rewiring needed. Obviously the interior was in bad shape and needed more work than most jobs. In the end, the car looked and sounded like the jewel it once was. |
